Alexis Skuras, DNP, APRN, AGCNS-BC, PMHNP-BC, CARN-AP, is the founder of Detroit Integrated Care and a dual-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist. She specializes in psychiatric care and addiction medicine, with additional expertise in Hepatitis C treatment and integrated care for individuals with complex behavioral and medical health needs.
Alexis is one of a small number of Advanced Practice Addictions Nurses (CARN-AP) in Michigan and has extensive experience caring for individuals with substance use disorders across outpatient, acute care, and community-based settings. Her work has also included expanding access to Hepatitis C screening and treatment for underserved populations.
Her approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in harm reduction. Alexis believes patients should remain at the center of their healthcare decisions, with providers offering evidence-based recommendations, education, and support in a judgment-free environment.
